There's about three feet of snow on the ground now. The reflection of sunlight off the surface makes the windows glow white. It has been and continues to be a cold and harsh winter. Still, our little wren is starting to sing, Doug's trails are showing bits of grass and the sun is setting later. The robins have taken to eating our neighbor's crabapples and the garden planning is in full swing. Granted, we're not hearing peepers or playing guitars on the porch yet, but you can see spring coming in baby steps...tiny signs that the world is still turning.
